- Reading of the May 2003 Minutes
- Motion to accept by Gene Toni, second by Jim Weir
- Treasurer's Report - Joe Domeier
- Dues Update
- Over 25 homes still unpaid for 2003
- 3rd set of billing statements to go out in July
- Brief Financial Update - as of May 31, 2003
- Breakdown of all income and expenses was provided
- Motion to accept by Darren Spencer, second by Gene Toni
- Vice President's Report - Mark Davis (none)
- Committee Updates
- Beautification - Russell Clarkson (not present)
- Neighborhood Relations - Darren Spencer
- Welcome packets continue to go out in a timely fashion
- Neighborhood Watch - Jim Weir
- Still need 5 more volunteers to server in different sections of the neighborhood.
- Asking for any and all help to get the Neighborhood Watch off the ground.
- Old Business
- Introduction of ARC Committee
- Travis Kelley and Trey Willison were introduced, the third member was not able to attend.
- The new committee will be responsible for enforcing the new passed Guidelines and for serving as the review committee for all ARC requests.
- New Business
- Discussion of need for a VTHA laptop - Mark Davis
- Keep finances on QuickBooks for all future Treasurers
- Keep meeting minutes and web site updates
- Keep all neighborhood lists and billing statements
- Would be shared by the Treasurer and Secretary, but passed from Board to Board
- Maximum expenditure of $2,000 for all hardware and software
- Vote to approve the purchase of a laptop was made, unanimously in favor.
- Discussion regarding the recent increase in fishing at the pond.
- A recent email from a homeowner expressed concern the fishing was "unattractive"
- The consensus was that member enjoy the use of the pond, but use should be limited to residents
- All fishing should be catch and release, and no swimming allowed
- Mark was asked to research the cost of a sign
